Fuerteventura is a place where you can practice trekking and has various routes you can take. Although the climate and hot and dry, you can take a stroll and admire the unique surroundings.

In 1 or 2 days you can take a few different routes around the Pico de Zarza the highest poing on the island with an elevation of 800 meters and wonderful views, La Ermita de Peña in Veg de Rio Palma or in the municipality of Pájara.

On the route of Pico de Zarza you must take precautions due to the high winds and bad visibility in certain areas.
